Anyone else tired of just seeing the after of branding?

Everyone shares the polished brand reveal — the shiny logo, the perfect colors, the sleek type.

But no one shows the messy middle:
The brainstorming sessions.
The awkward first drafts.
The design debates and strategy pivots.

We thought: what if we documented all of it?

So we started filming a behind-the-scenes video series that shows the entire process of building a brand from scratch — strategy, naming, moodboards, feedback, revisions… the whole deal.

It’s been wildly eye-opening even for us.

Would you watch something like this? Curious to hear your thoughts — especially if you're in branding, design, or building your own thing.

Yes, I’d binge-watch that in a heartbeat. The polished unveil is nice, but the messy mood-board detours, late-night “does-this-even-work?” debates, and naming meltdowns are where the real learning happens. Seeing that raw process would be a goldmine for anyone trying to build—or rebuild—a brand. Drop the link when it’s live!

YES. It’s exhausting to only see the polished, “after” version of branding—like a highlight reel with none of the messy, real work behind it.

Why This Frustrates People:
Unrealistic Expectations

Brands act like they were “born perfect,” when in reality, they likely went through 10 ugly logos, terrible color palettes, and cringy taglines first.

Missing the Strategy

Everyone shares the final logo but not the why—the customer research, the failed drafts, or the pivot after a disastrous launch.

No Relatability

Struggle = trust. When brands hide their process, they miss a chance to connect authentically.

What We Need More Of:
“Before & Afters” – Show the scrappy first drafts vs. the refined version.
Breakdowns of Flops – “Here’s why our first brand voice failed (and how we fixed it).”
Transparent Metrics – “This rebrand cost $X and took 6 months—here’s the ROI.”

Action Step:
Next time you see a “perfect” brand, ask for the story behind it in the comments. Demand the process, not just the polish.

(Or share a rant—we’re here for it. )
