What would be the safest method to generate video traffic on PornHub?
I’m considering the scenario below and wondering if it would work as a safe way to avoid a profile ban due to fake traffic generation:
1) I would upload 100 videos to PornHub, then make numerous posts on Reddit, Twitter, and similar websites with direct links to my videos.
2) I’d set up a network of bots that would click on, say, a Twitter URL that points to my video page. The bot would watch the video for a random amount of time, and I’d configure it to randomly skip parts of the video to make the traffic appear as legitimate as possible.
3) I would use 30 million residential proxy IPs. I’m also considering VPN IPs, assuming much of the traffic on PornHub is from VPN providers, which could appear as legitimate user traffic.
4) The bot wouldn’t only "watch" my videos; it would also click on other videos to minimize detection (each IP would watch 2-4 videos, including mine).
5) I plan to use Selenium with an undetectable ChromeDriver, employing random fingerprinting, with different screen resolutions and window sizes for each session.
A few questions:
Would it be best to test this method with currently available videos on PornHub to see if the traffic counts toward the "views" statistics? This way, I wouldn’t need to set up a whole new profile to verify the strategy.
ow does PornHub prevent this kind of approach? It seems like this could also be used to sabotage competitors if not executed correctly.
Would this approach work on other platforms, like Xvideos, Xhamster, etc?
What are your thoughts?
