Hi guys,
I have an English website, and now I want to build a website in another language, with a brand new domain name, and the content of the website is a translation of the English website, such as translating English into Italian, so that I have two websites at the same time, one in English and the other in other languages, and the websites in both languages exist at the same time. Although the language and text are different, the content of the website is essentially the same.
Will this cause harm to the original website and the new website? Will it be considered duplicate content? Will you be penalized by search engines? Is there a precedent? Especially a successful precedent?
Thanks in advance.
