As a starting point I use AI to write my page, then I add stuff such as whole sections and sentences here and there (plus word changes) to make it more specific to the content I am writing about. This can be for a service page or a blog page.

I was wondering, will Google rank my content the same as everyone else?

try using AI to help you to write your own content
outline the 'talking points'
the you need to be a human creator from that point
maybe use AI to correct grammar errors, spelling errors—but keep the 'thought process your own

AI content generation is predictable and rather obvious—when you follow the outlined process above you may get positive SEO results

Yes, Google can rank AI-generated content if it meets their E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) guidelines. Google's ranking systems focus on content quality and relevance, not how it was created.

Key Factors Google Considers:
Quality & Originality – Content must be helpful, well-researched, and provide unique value.

User Experience – Easy-to-read, well-structured, and engaging content ranks better.

E-E-A-T – Demonstrating expertise and trustworthiness improves rankings.

Avoiding Spam & Automation Abuse – Mass-produced, low-quality AI content may be penalized.

Best Practices for AI-Generated Content:
✔ Edit & Refine – AI content should be fact-checked and human-polished.
✔ Add Expertise – Include original insights, case studies, or expert opinions.
✔ Optimize for Users – Answer search intent clearly and concisely.
✔ Avoid Duplication – Ensure content isn’t copied or overly generic.

Google’s Official Stance:
"Appropriate use of AI is not against our guidelines." – Google Search Central.

"Automated content designed to manipulate rankings is spam." – Google Spam Policies.
